  • Does the 2-Tier Steam Sanitizer require Bleach?  

    No. The Clorox 2-Tier Steam Sanitizer uses only water to create sanitizing steam.

  • Is the Clorox 2-Tier Sanitizer BPA free?

    Yes. 

  • What is the difference between Full Cycle and Delicate Cycle? 

    • Full Cycle mode requires 100 mL of water, uses only the Lid with Handle, and runs for approximately 10 minutes. It’s ideal for items that are safe for use in a dishwasher sanitizer mode. For example: sponges, dishrags, metal or stainless-steel, etc.
    • Delicate Cycle requires only 40 mL of water, uses the Extender and Lid with Handle, and runs for approximately 5 minutes. This cycle is recommended for plastics, items that are painted or have sticker(s).
  • How much water should I use? 

    • Full Cycle: 100 mL (3.4 oz)
    • Delicate Cycle: 40 mL (1.35 oz) – use when sanitizing plastic or painted items.
  • Can I stop sanitizing mid-cycle?  

    • Full cycle runs for approximately 10 minutes.
    • Delicate cycle runs for approximately 5 minutes.
  • Can I stop sanitizing mid-cycle? 

    Unplug appliance to stop the Steam Sanitizer before the cycle is complete. Let steam dissipate before opening. Cycle will resume when product is plugged in again.

  • What items can I sanitize in the 2-Tier Steam Sanitizer? 

    • Reusable water bottles and straws
    • Kitchen washcloths
    • Kitchen and bathroom cleaning sponges
    • Utensils
    • Scrub brushes
    • Hairbrushes and combs
    • Clean makeup tools: brushes, sponges, eyelash curler, tweezers, etc.

    NOTE: Delicate/Extended mode is recommended for plastic and painted items.
